The Harry Laus Room has been hosting since last Wednesday (29), its new exhibition, with 53 works from the rich collection of the Santa Catarina Art Museum (MASC), which the Santa Catarina Culture Foundation (FCC) administers at the Integrated Culture Center (CIC) in Florianópolis. “Abrangências e Singularidades” (in a free translation “Scope and Singularities”) was conceived by a curatorial team made up of students of the Visual Arts course at the State University of Santa Catarina (UDESC), under the coordination of Professor Rosângela Cherem.
The show is part of the Museum's 68 year anniversary schedule. The curatorial team is formed by students Allan Cardoso, Anete George, Katia Speck, Mariana Rodrigues and Mylena Nuernberg. Among the artists who will have works participating in the exhibition are the exponents of several generations, such as Tarsila do Amaral, José Silveira D'Ávila, Hiedy de Assis Correa (Hassis), Sergio Ferro, Carlos Asp, Eduardo Dias, Clara Fernandes, Onor Campos Filomeno, Paulo Greuel, Rodrigo de Haro, Meyer Filho, Fernando Lindote, Giovana Zimermann, Juarez Machado, among others.
The visitation is from Tuesday to Sunday, from 10am to 9pm. The exhibition is in the Harry Laus Room of the Santa Catarina Art Museum (MASC), located in the Integrated Culture Center (CIC).
