On Monday (26) afternoon, Santa Catarina Governor Raimundo Colombo visited the new Administrative Center of the Secretariat of State for Public Security (SSP), located in Florianópolis, where he was welcomed by SSP Secretary César Augusto Grubba, and directors. The governor praised the new structure and highlighted the savings that the investment will bring to the public funds. “We will have an annual saving of R$ 2.8 million, which is the amount paid nowadays to the rents of the rooms occupied by the SSP. This is a work for the new generations”, said Colombo.
The governor took the opportunity to deliver new vehicles to the General Institute of Expertise (IGP) and the Military Police (PM). These are 10 Yamaha XT 660 motorbikes, with a total investment of R$ 336,600. PM now has an effective force of 15 military policemen. The vehicles of the IGP are from the agreement between the SSP and the National Secretariat of Public Security (SENASP). In November, the IGP received the donation of four Pajero 4x4 Dakar vehicles. The cities benefited were: Florianópolis, Joinville, Criciúma and Lages.
In this second phase, there are 26 Citroen Air Cross model cars that will be distributed by the units of the IGP. The 30 vehicles were acquired with funds from SENASP. The amount of the investment was R$ 2.7 million.
